Abstract: In order to investigate biostratigraphy and facies analysis of Albian strata in Nour Abad region, 57 samples were collected, and thin sections were provided. According to the investigated foraminifers, the Albian age was determined for Kazhdumi sediments of the studied section. These studies also led to the establishment of the following biozones: Hemicyclammina sigali zone, Conicorbitolina conica and Mesorbitolina parva assemblage zone, Mesorbitolina subconcava and Orbitolina discoidea sub-zone, Favusella washitensis sub-zone. The presence of pelagic fauna suggested the effect of the basement fault in the studied area, which indicates rapid transgression and rapid regression of the sea-level. However, the received facies data support shallow water carbonate system as sub-environments of the intertidal, Lagoon, bar, and open marine. The Kazeroon basement fault caused changes in paleobathymetry conditions during late Albian time.
